We spend about one third of our life sleeping. So if we want to improve our life, we have to pay special attention to our sleep. This article talks about how we can make the most of our sleep time and improve our mood as well as our memory.

This will be very important for those who study late at night. Because if you work in this way, you can learn how to fall asleep quickly and get a good sleep. It will improve your memory and you will be able to spend your working time refreshingly and productively.

Although it varies from person to person, generally we all need 6-8 hours of sleep. There is no point in studying after sleeping for three to four hours, because the things we study go from short-term memory to long-term memory during sleep. (This is called memory consolidation)

So what can you do to sleep faster and increase the quality of your sleep?


1. Get used to sleeping at the same time every day

Think about your daily routine and choose a time that is convenient for you. When you get used to going to bed at the same time every day, you can fall asleep faster. And can wake up.


2. Don't drink caffeinated drinks six hours before going to bed

Many people drink tea and coffee while studying at night. This is a bad habit. Because they disturb our sleep quality. That's why sometimes even after sleeping for hours, you still feel sleepy in the morning.


3. Apply a blue light filter

We are evolved to wake up when it's daylight and sleep when it's dark. This is controlled by our body's circadian rhythm. (To be understood, he is the time keeper of our body)

But even at night time, due to the light coming from our smart phone and TV, he could not recognize the day and night. This also disturbs our sleep. What we can do about this is not to watch smart phone or TV even an hour before going to bed. Because the blue light coming from them disturbs our sleep more than any other light.

Or we can put a blue light filter on the phone.(night shift on iPhone and night mode on Android.)


4. Sleep in pitch darkness

Because even the smallest light can disturb our sleep


5. If you can't sleep,

Take a bath before going to sleep, relax and relax

Reserve the bed only for sleeping. (Then the brain makes a connection that bed = sleep. Then it's easy to fall asleep.)

Maybe you think that if you sleep so much, you won't be able to do any work. Not like that. This sleep increases the benefit of your work. Do your best when you are awake.
